What we use today

Coloringopia currently uses your browser's local storage (not a traditional cookie) for two things, both essential to how the site works and neither shared with us or anyone else:

• Coloring progress — saved via IndexedDB so a page you've colored looks the same if you come back to it later on the same device.
• Theme preference — saved via localStorage so the site remembers your light/dark mode choice.

Neither of these is used to track you across sites, and neither is accessible to anyone other than you, in your own browser.

Analytics and advertising cookies

Coloringopia is a free, ad-supported site. When analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) or advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) is enabled, those services may set their own cookies to measure traffic or show ads — standard practice for the free-content model this site runs on. This page will be updated with the specific services in use once they're switched on, and where required, we'll ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Controlling cookies and local storage

You can clear cookies and local site data at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so will remove your saved coloring progress and theme preference, but won't affect your ability to browse or use the site — you'll just start fresh on any pages you'd previously colored.
